My Etude House April 2013 Haul

Ever since I heard and read about the cute Etude House Spring 2013 collection, I wanted to pop by their store ASAP to check them out. Mainly because I really like this one nail polish which I am dying to get. Anyway, I popped by Etude House in One Utama yesterday and found that they have their new collection there already! Yay!

Robin Egg Although there were a few really cute packaging from their new Spring 2013 collection, I only wanted the nail polish. Why? Maybe because I don’t have that much to spend on more lip balms and lip tints. So I just bought this nail colour which reminds me of a robin’s egg. Not the superhero Robin, but the bird. Have you seen a picture of the egg before? Here’s an image I found on Tumbler since we don’t have robin birds here in Malaysia.

So, here is my mini haul from Etude House:

1. Ice Cream nail polish in blue #01 (RM25.90)

Ice Cream nail polish is blue #01 Cute packaging right? Looks exactly like a mini ice cream cone. I love this colour; more like I love all the shades of turquoise, mint, teal and in between. The packaging is the winner though; guess what people say is true, girls are truly suckers for packaging. Lol.

However, I find the nail polish application rather streaky. I had to put 3-4 coats to get it nicely opaque. I did thin coats though since I don’t want it to take forever to dry properly.

2. Eraser Show Mascara Cleaner (RM19.90 – promo price)

Eraser Show Mascara Cleaner I hate taking out mascara. Which is why I tend to forgo mascara many times since I am such a lazy bum to keep removing it with eye makeup remover till it’s really clean. Lots of remover tend to sting my eyes too. So, thought of trying out this product since according to the the salesgirl, all I need to do is coat my mascara-coated lashed with this cleaner, leave on for about 2 minutes, then wipe off. Gotta try that since it sounds really simple.

By the way, this product and others from the Eraser Show range are sold at a promotion price now. So if you are a fan, you should get yours before the promo ends 14 April 2013!

3. Love Homme Sebum Control Mask for Men (RM6.90)

Love Homme Sebum Control Mask for Men Recently I’ve been trying to pamper boyfie as often as I can by giving him relaxing facial at home. But sadly, most of my face masks are too small for a man’s face! Most of the time, our usual sheet masks for women are too narrow to cover up to the ears. They tend to stop just after the cheeks are covered.

So since Etude House is having sale, I thought to buy these and try out on him. Hehe. Will post the results once I’ve tested it on him.

4. Black Head Remover Dual Sheet (RM 6.90)

Black Head Remover Dual Sheet Blackheads are really annoying, and it looks ugly too! Boyfie and I tend to have lots of it on the nose area, so thought to buy the sheet version and try it out first. There is a dual tube version for this, but since we want to test and see if it works on our stubborn blackheads, I got this one-time use sheet. Apparently, I’m suppose to use Step 1 first to remove the icky stuff, then Step 2 to tighten the pores. Sounds promising.

Etude House is also having a promotion where if you buy 3 items and above from their non-sale items and excluding their new Spring 2013 collection, all of the items are 50% off. So basically, instead of paying RM6.90 for a mask, I paid RM3.45 only! Yay!

** All these are bought at Etude House One Utama, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
